Super quality and generously proportioned William IV period mahogany carver or elbow chair, of particularly good weight of timber, having a shaped ‘bar back’ cresting rail, scroll arms, a leather covered stuff-over seat, swept sabre legs to the rear, and baluster turned legs with brass castors and white china wheels to the front. Ideal for use with a desk.

Condition and Details of Restoration: This chair is in original and completely sound structural condition. The polish has been revived, by our own craftsmen, by hand in the traditional manner; it retains its original colour and patina. There are some minor old marks, but nothing particularly noticeable. There is an old repair (completely sound) to one of the uprights.
