A handsome, superior quality, and capacious Victorian mahogany open bookcase, having a rosette carved frieze above an arrangement of three adjustable shelves flanked by fluted pilasters, with a panelled back, and raised on turned a plinth base.
Ideal for use in an alcove, and with deeper than usual shelves that would accommodate reference books if required.

Condition and Details of Restoration:
This item is in original structural condition and is completely sound. The polish has been revived, by our own craftsmen, by hand in the traditional manner. As ever with furniture of this age there are some old marks underneath the polish; in our opinion, the photographs are representative.
