A pretty and good quality Victorian centre or breakfast table (also commonly called a ‘loo’ table), the tip-up top being of oval form and quarter-veneered in wonderfully tightly grained burr walnut, raised on a base with carved and turned stem on four elaborately carved cabriole legs.
Length 52” (132cm) Width 40” (102cm) Height 28” (71cm)
Condition and Details of Restoration:
This table is in original structural condition. The polish has been refinished, by our own craftsmen, by hand in the traditional manner. There are some old marks underneath the polish, more to the base than the top, which is very clean. In our opinion the photographs are representative.
