Slim Regency Rosewood Chiffonier Side Cabinet

A handsome and fine quality Regency period chiffonier sideboard in attractively grained rosewood. It features a superstructure to the top with shelf, pierced brass gallery, and carved C-scroll supports, above a frieze drawer and two panelled doors with bevel mouldings, flanked by flat pilasters with acanthus carved surmounts, opening to reveal an interior with a shelf, and is raised on a plinth base.

This chiffonier is of pleasingly slim proportions from front to rear, making it ideal for use in a hallway or other room where space is restricted.

Condition and Details of Restoration:
This item is in sound original structural condition,. The original polish has been revived, by our own craftsmen, by hand in the traditional manner. There are some old marks and fading to the polish and extremely minor small repairs to the veneer commensurate with age. In our opinion the photographs are representative.
