Regency Rosewood & Brass Inlaid Card Table – PJ1097

A quite superb Regency period fold-over top card table. The top is in beautifully wild grained rosewood with cant corners and satinwood banding, veneered on to dense straight grain mahogany for extra structural integrity. The top rotates and opens to reveal a baize lined interior. Below the top is a frieze with chased brass mouldings, raised on four turned columns and a platform base with humped sabre legs and ornate chased brass castors.

Circa 1820.
