A handsome and fine quality late George III period mahogany chest of six short drawers with fall-front secretaire drawer above, opening to reveal a fitted interior with pigeonholes and satinwood veneered drawers and central cupboard. All drawers are oak lined and feature original pressed brass knob handles. The carcase is raised on swept bracket feet to the front united by as shaped apron.

Condition and details of restoration:
This item is in original structural condition. The polish has been refinished and the brass work cleaned, by hand in the traditional manner. There are minor marks underneath the polish commensurate with age and use. In our opinion the photographs are representative.
