A delightful Edwardian Sheraton Revival mahogany small writing table with satinwood banding and boxwood line inlay. The bow ended top features a central hand-stained cow hide green leather inset scriber with gilt tooling, and the most unusual feature of a lift-up lid to each of the bow ends, opening to reveal fitted writing compartments. Below the top is a single mahogany lined drawer with hand-cut dovetail joints, attractive brass knob handles, and original lock. The table is raised on elegant square section tapering legs with original brass plate castors on brown china wheels.

Condition and Details of Restoration:
This item is in excellent original structural condition and is completely sound, apart from the handles which are replacements of a period design. The polish has been refinished and the leather replaced, by our own craftsmen, by hand in the traditional manner.
