A handsome and fine quality early Victorian open bookcase veneered in dramatically grained rosewood, having an over-hung top above an arrangement of two adjustable shelves flanked by pilasters with carved corbels, and raised on a plinth base.

Condition and Details of Restoration:
This item is in original structural condition and is completely sound. The polish has been refinished, by our own craftsmen, by hand in the traditional manner. There are some minor marks. We have had the shelf supports replaced as the originals were too worn.
