A quite delightful and superb quality Edwardian Chippendale style mahogany torchère or plant stand, the dished top having a gadrooned edge, above a tapering turned stem with helical twist carving, and raised on an elegant cabriole leg tripod base with acanthus carving and ball-and-claw feet.

Condition & Details of Restoration:
This item is in excellent original structural condition. The polish has been revived, by our own craftsmen, by hand, in the traditional manner. There are some old marks underneath the polish, but all extremely minor.
