The top has three inset leather panels in genuine hand-stained cow hide with gilt and blind tooling, a carved gadrooned edge, and three frieze drawers. The top sits on two pedestals of three drawers each with carved cant corners, panelled ends and backs, and raised rosette carved aprons above shell carved cabriole legs with ball-and-claw feet. All drawers feature original ornate chased brass handles.

Condition & Details of Restoration:
This item is in excellent original structural condition. The polish has been revived and the leather insets replaced, by our own restorers, by hand in the traditional manner. There are minor old marks under the polish; in our opinion the photographs are representative.
